Want to learn how to play an instrument? Is your child striving to go above and beyond what they are learning in school?
Silver Strings Music Studio offers beginning level instruction for students wanting to learn violin, viola, `cello, and bass for students from age 6 to age 99. The only requirements to start are the ability to read and the desire to learn. Intermediate to advance instruction is available for viola and violin.
Mr. Williams teaches traditional music lessons, customized to the student's level and desire. Lessons start with simple folk songs to develop basic technique. Once a student is able, we span into classical repertoire to continue to develop technique and musicianship. As the student develops, we can also start to incorporate alternative styles, depending on the students interests: fiddle, celtic, jazz, contemporary christian, broadway, the possibilities are endless.
Private lessons are given during the school year on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Spots are limited to 10 students during the school year. Contact us today to arrange your first lesson.
Summer Lessons
Do you want your child to pick up their instrument over the summer? Summer lessons are a great way to keep your child playing and give them a jump start on next year! Summer lesson schedule runs mid-June to mid-August, providing 6-8 lessons over the summer. Lessons are held on Tuesday and Wednesday, 10am-10pm, providing flexibilty for your busy summer schedule. Up to 30 students are accepted on the summer schedule. Silver Strings Music Studio is centrally located to accomodates students from Palisades, Southern Lehigh, Upper Perkiomen, Pennridge, and Souderton School Districts.
